Children's dentistry
Calm first visits, preventive care and a relationship that makes future visits easier.
A child's first dental visit should not be a test. It should be short, friendly and built around trust. We introduce the chair, the light and the mirror at their pace, then do only what the child is ready for. Parents are welcome to stay close throughout.
This may be for you if
- A first tooth or first birthday
- White spots or early decay
- Thumb sucking or dummy use
- A child who is nervous about dentists
What the appointment includes
- Gentle introduction to the clinic
- Age-appropriate examination
- Fluoride varnish and sealants where useful
- Diet and brushing guidance for parents
- Habit correction advice
How treatment is planned.
The steps are similar for most patients. The timeline and fee are confirmed in writing after examination.
- 01
Meet first
The first visit is about familiarity. We show, tell and then do, in that order.
- 02
Keep it short
Young children tire quickly. We stop before the visit becomes a struggle.
- 03
Prevent early
Sealants, fluoride and diet advice reduce the chance of decay in adult teeth.
- 04
Build confidence
Regular, low-pressure visits make dental care a normal part of growing up.
